IO- SEA aims to address the challenges of IO at Exascale on modular supercomputers. The project leverages an Object Storage platform, Ephemeral I/O services, Hierarchical storage management (including tape) across multiple tiers, Telemetry analytics within the I/O stack and the DASI (Data Access and Storage Application) Interface API for applications. I/O intensive use cases are used.
The project works very closely with the DEEP-SEA and the RED-SEA projects to further the implementation of the Modular Supercomputing Architetcure.
