ECMWF in IO-SEA
As part of WP1, the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) will be using a subset of its operational forecasting workflow to provide requirements to the project.
Once the services provided by IO-SEA can be tested, the ECMWF testbed will be updated to use relevant features, assessing the capabilities and performance of the system, therefore providing valuable input for the other work packages. The software improvements made along the way will also, when applicable, be fed back into the ECMWF operational software stack.
